Dare

Today I thought I’d share a poem, I wrote called Dare. Sometimes we need to take a risk to step into the power and promises of God. I thought I’d dare you!

Dare

Like a deep root tree in the forest of your love

Lord, establish me.

Plant me powerfully,

And as the sun breaks through, I will rise up boldly

And rejoice with you.

Because your love’s so high, so deep, so long we cannot measure.

More than we understand.

And we’re strong when, in you, we stand together.

And we will dare; Dare to ask you Lord

And we will dare; To imagine

Because this fullness,

Is your power at work within us.

And Lord you can, and will,

Do so much more

More than we dare.

Like your treasure trove, A heart, of Christ’s silver and gold,

Let me overflow,

To where your gifts can grow.

And by faith’s own fire, forge an eternal crown.

Spirit take me higher.

Because your love’s so high, so deep, so long we cannot measure.

More than we understand.

And we’re strong when, in you, we stand together.

And we will dare; Dare to ask you Lord

And we will dare; To imagine

Because this fullness,

Is your power at work within us.

And Lord you can, and will,

Do so much more

More than we dare.

I hope you are encouraged by this poem today. Be blessed and be encouraged to DARE to do something in the power of the Holy Spirit. Dare to believe that Jesus loves you, beyond the boundaries of love, and Dare to come to the Father, for guidance and wisdom. Ask God to establish you today.

Please, share, like and comment.

Lots of Love
