I talked about this Challenge in my previous post here. I basically read the chapter through, then give my self 10 mins to respond in writing. I plan to do 1 Chapter per week. It’s a bit of fun and also a great way to study the bible.
Last week I summarised the Chapter. This week I wrote a poem!
Here it is:
Wisdom
Accept my words my son,
So that you’ll be wise.
Wisdom is treasure worth finding.
Cry out for insight, scream for understanding.
Then you will fear the Lord and understand the knowledge of God.
It all comes out of His mouth.
He has plans for you to succeed and a shield for you to walk behind.
He guards and protects your way.
Follow Him.
Then you will understand good and fair.
You will appreciate justice.
You will be safe from wicked ways of perversity and evil;
Of deviousness and waywardness.
Although they are seductive, they lead down to death.
Follow the Lord my son,
And you will walk in the ways of the good, and on righteous paths.
You will be firm in your place and remain,
Where you belong.
Be blessed, be encouraged to listen to the wisdom of the Lord and accept His grace for you.
Lots of love,
L.
