Fear is a four letter F-word. Even worse than the other one. Although, fear is similar to the other f-word because it too can create babies, baby F-words. F-word offspring that can then grow into Big Daddy or Big Mama F-words in our lives.
Here is Fear’s Family Tree.
Fear marries Foreboding;
Together they bring forth three siblings; Fight, Flight & little Freeze.
Fight marries Fury;
Together they bring forth a multitude of Fractures and Frowns.
Flight marries Forget;
Together they make little Frustrated, and his sister Frantic and they foster Footloose, Fancy-Free and the very fickle Fame.
Little Freeze marries the fairly frigid Forbid;
They buy a fetid fixer-upper called “Fantasy” where they fumble around with fittings and fuss about feature walls, then festoon the front fence with their failings. The fruit of their union are Feeble and Flaky (formally known as Following My Feelings).
Frankly, and it’s a fundamental fact, the future looks faulty if this is your family.
But wait this may not be your fate. There is another F-word. Bigger, Stronger, Longer than the four letter kind.
Is yours a five letter future?
F.A.I.T.H.
Faith is not but a word, it is shield, a refuge from Fear and all its offspring.
Look and you will find, that Faith has it’s own family, fate and future. They are;
The Father, Forgiveness, Freedom, Favour, Fortune, Fun and Friendship. PHEW!
Have a fantastic, faith filled week,
Lots of love,
L.

Thanks bottomlesscoffee007, it was super fun to write and think about, despite its seriousness. A bit of Ridikulus to get rid of that fear comes in handy and is very effective I always think. Welcome to the blog. I’ll head over to yours now, although with a little fear and trembling because I gave up coffee today!!!!!
